The HiYa Competition Team has been busy not only with competing but with community service as well.

• Lorien Demonstration: Saturday, December 20th the team visited Lorien Assisted Living in Mount Airy and gave an interactive karate demonstration! We really do believe in Train for Life!

• Trash Pick Up: On February 21st members of the competition team walked the Rails to Trails and picked up over 8 bags full of trash. The Mayor thanked the kids after and it was a fun afternoon for all.
